I was reading the latest copy of WM last night and came across this interesting quote in Sarah Manners’ column that I thought I’d share with you.

“Keep the bird caged, and the second you open the door it will fly away forever. But let the bird spread its wings a little every day while you take care to keep that cage door wide open and something good inside, and it will always come back to you.”

As your children grow up this becomes ever more true - you have to allow them the little freedoms to prepare them for the bigger ones to come. And as long as your arms are always open, they will explore the world and always come back.

Organics for Kids - now in short sleeves for summer!

One of our most popular clothing ranges for gifts are the Organics for Kids breton stripe rompers. These come in a fantastic array of colours and are made from the softest organic cotton and are now available in a short sleeve option for the warmer weather.

Summer may seem a little way off yet but it is rapidly approaching. Yesterday here in Cardiff you could have been fooled into thinking it had come early as the cherry trees are in full blossom and the park next to us was full of families enjoying the sunshine.

When buying ahead for babies, as gifts or for your own eagerly expected new arrival, it is important to consider when the garment you are buying will be worn. For example an average sized baby born in March or April will be fitting into 3-6 months clothes through July and August so our summer clothing range would be ideal.

Real Nappy Week 2008

Sustainable Wales Real Nappy Campaign and Waste Awareness Wales are holding a fashion show with a difference on Friday 18th April in the St Davids Shopping centre, Cardiff.

Babies and toddlers will be modeling the latest designs in modern washable nappies whilst having fun in their fantastic soft play area. A commentary will be provided by a celebrity mum and there will be free organic cotton t shirts for every child who takes part as well as a £50 voucher for the best nappy!
